Un a\u00f1o pand\u00e9mico despu\u00e9s, esta colaboraci\u00f3n ha sido para m\u00ed una fuente de mucha luz durante muchas horas sombr\u00edas. <\/p>\n\n<p>Mientras dise\u00f1\u00e1bamos y explor\u00e1bamos las vi\u00f1etas de la instalaci\u00f3n (\u00a1y \u00e9pica ser\u00e1 la creaci\u00f3n final!), el proceso se llen\u00f3 de una riqueza de creaci\u00f3n, aprendizaje y juego, todo lo cual encarna las razones clave que me atraen para dedicar gran parte de mi tiempo al pensamiento matem\u00e1tico, la investigaci\u00f3n y la ense\u00f1anza. La Vi\u00f1eta de las Ardillas Clasificando Primos expresa en cierto modo mi camino en las matem\u00e1ticas, que pas\u00f3 de una aceptaci\u00f3n ciega de los hechos -aqu\u00ed hay una f\u00f3rmula, enchufa y traga, y funcionar\u00e1- a comprender que las matem\u00e1ticas son un esfuerzo humano, en el que podemos crear las reglas y ver c\u00f3mo evolucionan. Para m\u00ed, las matem\u00e1ticas pasaron de ser fr\u00edas y austeras a ser exuberantes y flexibles (soy top\u00f3loga). Ardillas Clasificando Primos es el comienzo de la exploraci\u00f3n. Por tanto, queremos que la historia tenga un tema l\u00fadico, en el que nuestros j\u00f3venes personajes construyan una base s\u00f3lida para el progreso matem\u00e1tico, cultivando una disposici\u00f3n positiva en nuestros j\u00f3venes estudiantes y en usted, espectador. Cuando se encuentran los factores adecuados, la hoja correspondiente recibe una marca verde. Cuando el n\u00famero no es factor, los residuos se encierran en un c\u00edrculo rojo y la hoja recibe una x roja. Se acab\u00f3 el formato de tarea de escribir matrices rectangulares en hojas de papel verticales. En su lugar, jugamos en el suelo con bellotas f\u00edsicas en 3D.   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Hemos creado una l\u00ednea de visi\u00f3n descendente que, en definitiva, es m\u00e1s adecuada para nuestros espectadores. Las ardillas empu\u00f1an tablillas de arcilla con n\u00fameros cuneiformes babil\u00f3nicos, un saludo a los m\u00e1s de cuatro milenios de numeraci\u00f3n registrada. Los n\u00fameros 12 y 13 hind\u00faes-\u00e1rabes no se hicieron omnipresentes hasta el siglo XVII, y quer\u00edamos algo que se remontara m\u00e1s atr\u00e1s en los anales del tiempo. Las tablillas ordenadas se colocaron en cestas heptagonales, ya que los hept\u00e1gonos aparecen en muchos lugares de nuestra instalaci\u00f3n (\u00bfcu\u00e1ntos puede encontrar?). Hemos sustituido <span class=\"rouge\">x<\/span> y <span class=\"vert\">\u2713<\/span> por una tablilla <span class=\"jaune\">resaltada en amarillo<\/span> para acentuar los residuos no triviales. Y lo que es m\u00e1s importante, nuestra ardilla 13 se mantiene erguida, \u00a1orgullosa de haber demostrado que el 13 es un n\u00famero primo! Tienen tablillas cuneiformes que parecen ser capaces de comprender. Tienen bellotas para contar los factores de los equivalentes num\u00e9ricos de las tablillas. Pueden realizar su tarea con menos tiempo y esfuerzo. Al mismo tiempo, darles m\u00e1s conocimientos tambi\u00e9n les expone inevitablemente a una p\u00e9rdida de inocencia. Se interrumpe su satisfacci\u00f3n angelical en su capacidad para contar las bellotas hasta llegar a su soluci\u00f3n. Ahora pueden llegar a la misma conclusi\u00f3n con menos de la mitad de las bellotas. Su juego se interrumpe.      <\/p>\n\n<p>Sin embargo, al otro lado de su p\u00e9rdida de inocencia est\u00e1 el mundo fant\u00e1stico del juego humano. En la mente humana, la abstracci\u00f3n nos desconecta en cierto modo del juego f\u00edsico del universo de las ardillas, pero tambi\u00e9n nos abre a un campo de juego de dimensiones infinitas. Con nuestras reglas, las ardillas no tienen que detenerse cuando se agotan sus contenedores heptagonales de n\u00fameros enteros. Su juego puede continuar mientras quieran seguir adelante.   <\/p>\n\n<p>En cierto modo, estas ardillas nos miran a nosotros, sus creadores, con la emoci\u00f3n de una broma ir\u00f3nica. Nos est\u00e1n diciendo que, por muy fant\u00e1stico que sea nuestro universo te\u00f3rico, la satisfacci\u00f3n de su juego primario no se ha perdido. Por muy sofisticadas que se vuelvan nuestras matem\u00e1ticas, nos sigue complaciendo innatamente el recuento de objetos f\u00edsicos como medio para resolver problemas.
