J&rsquo;ai savour\u00e9 les phrases inattendues que l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es au cours de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e, tout comme j&rsquo;ai pris plaisir \u00e0 cr\u00e9er de nouvelles c\u00e9ramiques qui habitent le royaume imaginaire inspir\u00e9 des math\u00e9matiques : Math\u00e9mAlchimie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover alignfull is-light\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-primary-background-color has-background-dim\"><\/span><video class=\"wp-block-cover__video-background intrinsic-ignore\" autoplay muted loop playsinline src=\"https:\/\/videos.files.wordpress.com\/sQel0ewF\/centering_mp4_hd.mp4\" data-object-fit=\"cover\"><\/video><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-background-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aa2936a94035ce254a5cb1faa50ff54e\">Le tour de potier favorise la sym\u00e9trie de rotation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-96e4718e1b785c2998e001e0d5b6b0fe wp-block-paragraph\">Mon principal outil en tant qu&rsquo;artiste de l&rsquo;argile est un tour \u00e0 poterie \u00e0 moteur \u00e9lectrique &#8211; un outil qui, de par sa conception, met l&rsquo;accent sur la sym\u00e9trie de rotation circulaire. Le tour permet aux potiers de se recentrer, au sens propre comme au sens figur\u00e9. Pourtant, peu des formes que j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er pour Math\u00e9mAlchimie sont rondes. Comment fabrique-t-on un <a href=\"https:\/\/mathemalchemy.org\/2021\/03\/11\/prime-play-on-a-prime-day-3-11-43x47\/\">tamia<\/a> sur le tour ?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fabriquer des bestioles sur le tour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00e9couvrer le travail. J&rsquo;ai commenc\u00e9 par travailler un disque d&rsquo;argile plat. Une fois que le disque s&rsquo;est raidi jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 atteindre un stade de \u00ab\u00a0cuir souple\u00a0\u00bb, j&rsquo;ai utilis\u00e9 une roulette dentel\u00e9e pour y imprimer un pavage heptagonal du plan hyperbolique ; puis j&rsquo;ai doucement d\u00e9form\u00e9 et \u00e9tir\u00e9 le disque pour lui donner une forme de carapace plus adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 une tortue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Travail de l&rsquo;argile humide au tour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D&rsquo;autres formes ont n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 un peu plus de travail.
