Terrace – Fabrication

Terrace

Fabrication

The two wooden supports for the transparent table top, were made by Vincent Edwards, milled out of a piece of wood constituted by many layers of plywood glued together.

The balustrade of the Terrace was designed and lasercut by Edmund Harriss.

The two little mats were cross-stitched by Kathy Peterson and Ingrid Daubechies, after a design by Susan Goldstine and Mary William.

Like all the other Johnson solids in the installation, the frames of the poufs were 3D-printed by Henry Segerman, and decorated and integrated in the overall design (in many ways) by Tasha Pruitt.

Dishes are made from clay by Liz Paley; dishes and pastry made in polymer clay by Ingrid Daubechies.
